This Handlebar Duffle is part of a bikepacking series that I've been developing to strengthen my construction skills and explore new form factors. I wanted to create a bag that can meet my needs touring, gravel riding, on trail and in everyday life. I’ve done countless overnighters, weekend trips, and recently a month-long tour through Vietnam using this bag, both in its handlebar bag form and off-bike duffle for roaming cities and staying in hostels.

The pack is made from super tough but lightweight 100% Recycled Challenge Ecopak. This lightweight construction combined with its roll top closure makes for a rugged but real easy-to-use bag. It is rack-compatible or can be mounted directly to the handlebar/headtube. Its wide single top-facing opening allows for easy access into the pack. The roll closure compresses the volume and the two additional straps secures the load further for a stable ride. Also the exterior straps can be used to lash down additional items like tent poles or a foam sleeping pad. The exterior side pockets are great for stashing the removable shoulder strap and holding your beer.
